10 Important Points to Keep in Mind by Govt. Servant During Service

 

A Govt. servant should keep in mind the following 10 important points while in Service so he may not face difficulty during service or after service i.e. retirement.

1. Check your date of birth and date of appointment in your identity card, service book, salary slip, and first appointment order to ensure that there is no difference between them.

2۔ Keep your and your spouse's identity card updated so that it is not about to expire۔

3۔ Get your computerized "Nikah Nama" from the Union Council and have your name instead of her father's name on your wife's identity card.

4۔ Make sure CNICs of your children above eighteen years of age and B form for children below 18 years of age. Consider the date of birth and parentage of all children so that there is no mistake in anyone۔

5۔ Maintain your service book attested by the Accounts Office or AGPR. Also, get verified GP Fund statements from the Treasury from time to time during your service.

6. If you have not allotted your GP Fund number yet, get it allotted immediately and enroll any of your family members (wife/son etc۔) as heirs in the record.

7۔ All employees (especially teachers) should get all their educational certificates and degrees verified and mandatory verification of their first appointment order.

8۔ Do not keep money in your salary account because in case of sudden death of the employee, the account is closed immediately and the money in it is available after the judgment of the court which usually takes three to four months.

9.You must have a separate private bank account where you can keep your savings. And tell the secret password of your ATM card to your wife/son so that it can be used in time of need۔

10. Prepare FRC of your family from NADRA which contains complete details of your family. If there is any mistake in it, correct it now. It contains a photograph and record of a day-old baby being born.
